Manoj Bajpai starrer 1971 released in 2007 recently bagged the National Award of Best feature film. Manoj Bajpai is more than happy about the fact, because it was he who had recommended the filmmaker and producer to file the film as a nominee.

However, there is an interesting co-incidence here. Apparently winning a national award does not come easy for Manoj. Apart from giving his best performance and believing in the film, Bajpai has to lose something to win something.

Explains Bajpai, " (Laughs) Well, it's a sheer co-incidence. But yes, it is true that one day prior to the day I got National Award for Pinjar in the best actor category, I lost my mobile phone.

And this time yet again before 1971 got the award; I met with an accident in Hyderabad while shooting for a film and hurt my back."

They all say to achieve something; you have to give up something. However, if the thing is worth losing something then why not? Wotsay Mr. Bajpai?
