Raj (Shahrukh Khan) and Priya (Rani Mukherjee) are the protagonist of this Shah Rukh Khan's home production Chalte Chalte. Raj owns a transport business. He is impulsive, hard-working, emotional and has middle-class values. On the other hand Priya is a daughter of a stinking rich industrialist. She is sophisticated but an emotional person who never let her heart rule her head.

Eventually they fall in love and get married with each other. As the time progresses, the love fizzles out of the relationship and Raj no longer finds it a need to cancel his business appointments to meet Priya. The story progresses with Priya and Raj´s trials and tribulations through a regular life and marriage and how love prevails in the end.

The problem is eternal. The issues are the same. A tale of two hearts...Chalte Chalte bears a strong resemblance to Saathiya. It is directed by Aziz Mirza and has music by Jatin Lalit and Aadesh Shrivastav.
