Three hours in Delhi traffic drove three hungry men to desperate measures. Yeh kahaani hai Acid Factory actors Dino Morea and Aftab Shivdasani and director Suparn Verma ki. The trio was recently in Dilli to promote the film. Aftab was hungry and convinced Dino and Suparn to ask for food from fellow drivers.
No, we aren't kidding you. A source gives us the lowdown, "The three caught a football match between Mohun Bagan and Churchill Brothers and headed over to a local 'plex for press interactions. Stuck in their SUV for three hours, Aftab led the way in knocking on people's windows; Dino and Suparn followed suit."
Capital rush
Reasons Aftab, "The traffic is crazy in Delhi. We keep cribbing about the situation in Mumbai. But one has to see the state in the country's capital to believe it's way worse. Eventually, we got hungry and began asking for food. One family - returning from a picnic - gave us a packet of biscuits which we gobbled up."
Dino didn't exactly sing (he signed away) for his supper, though. Says he, "People came to our window asking for autographs and pictures and we were asking them if they had anything to eat in return. Rather than sulk about the mad traffic, we made it into a fun evening. And made some cool friends along the way."
Verma adds in his two bits, "We had a security car with us with cops in it and everything but we lost them some two signals back. Delhi is known for its street food stalls but we didn't even see a single one. When Aftab came up this plan, we all just ran with it."
