Filmmaker Subhash Ghai has been selected as a jury member at the International Emmy Awards for the fourth consecutive year.

The award function will be held in New York in November.

"I am honoured to be a part of the International Emmy awards 2009 jury and feel humbled representing my country on this international stage, " said Ghai, who directed box office hits like "Pardesh" and "Taal".

Holding high hopes for India, Ghai said in a statement: "It is my dream to see India too being nominated for these awards and I hope my dream comes true soon."
