Recently, Deepika Padukone played a doting girlfriend to Ranbir Kapoor by throwing him a surprise birthday party and inviting some of his close friends.

She took him to a restaurant for dinner when he got back from Bhopal and he was in for a surprise when he saw that she had invited Ayan Mukherjee (director of Wake Up Sid) and some of his old school friends for his birthday party.

As a birthday gift, Ranbir received a new laptop from Deepika. Now, isn't that sweet?
