Bollywood`s new found love with supernatural thrillers is far from over. Produced by Nitin Manmohan directed by Mani Shankar 'Rudraksh' deals with hidden mental powers and eerie vodoo practices which we hate to discuss. Bipahsa Basu ia playing Dr. Gayatri who is into investigating paranormal activity.

On her trip to India she meets Varun (Sanjay Dutt) who is gifted by such powers. Varun possesses great healing powers but during Gayatri's unusual experiments, he got swayed by hidden evil power. This dark force is linked to Ravana's legendary Rudraksh. The myth goes that its folds seed sounds that promised to mutate its bearer into a power beyond all reckoning.

After the initial resistance, Varun draws deep into the perils of hidden force. Soon he undertakes the quest which takes him to the Himalayas and ruins of the Ravan's palaces in Lanka. Eventually the things start falling in place. The films also stars Sunil Shetty as Bhuria and Isha Koppikar as his ravishing consort Lali.

Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy has composed the music for the film while story, screenplay, dialogues, editing, SFX supervision has been done by Mani Shankar.
