The Andhra Government has handed over 20 acres of prime land near Jubilee Hill, Hyderabad to Subhash Ghai to set up a new branch of Whistling Woods Multimedia International Campus And Entertainment complex in Hyderabad on 15th October 2009.

Late Chief Minister YSR met Subhash Ghai in the month of July and encouraged him to set up a world class cinema and multimedia high tech campus in Hyderabad. He wanted the younger generation of Andhra to be on top professionally trained in all kind of media arts and technology to compete with international standard.

Subhash Ghai donated Rs. Eleven Lakhs to Chief Minister K. Rosaiah for the CM Flood Relief Fund on the day of the land possession saying, "Mukta Arts and Whistling Woods are grateful and are highly encouraged by the government and the people of Andhra to set up this world class institute, Whistling Woods here too. We stand committed."

After the great success Of Whistling woods International Film, TV and Media Arts, Film City, Mumbai which is headed by the Chairmanship of Anand Mahindra in Governing council with many other leaders of various industries. Subhash Ghai is a Founder of Whistling Woods promoted by Mukta Arts Ltd. Whistling Woods has already opened its branch in Spain in a Joint Venture with the Government of Spain.

In Future, Mukta Arts Ltd is all set to replicate Whistling Woods in various states of India and abroad like UK and Singapore.
