There is much more to this swaying bronze babe Malaika than people think. Underneath that Oomph queen personality of her's there lies a girl with a golden heart. Smriti malhotra aka Tulsi swears by the warmth she recieved from this lovely lass.

Smriti was on her first professional ramp show after having reached the finals of the Miss India pageant. "This glamour world was new to me. My upbringing was different and despite being very confident, I was nervous about walking the ramp properly. Malaika saw me, a nobody then, walked up to me, asked if I was nervous about my walk and showed me how to walk properly. This from a known name who did not even know me at all."

After that incident which made Smriti a fan of hers, Malaika did not even remember Smriti when she met her at parties or events. "She did it for someone totally unknown and it came naturally to her," says Smriti.
