God bless Milind Soman because he is defining 'Rules-Pyaar Ka Super Hit Formula' for us. In case you are a lovelorn and looking for some handy tips, this is a film just for you. After having a chequered stint in the Bolywood as an actor, Milind has turned producer with 'Rules'.
It narrates the story of Radha (Meera Vasudevan), a young assistant to fashion photographer Uday Singh. She is having a huge crush on the famous supermodel Vikram Verma (Milind Soman), the man she loved since she was 14. Despite being in the glamour world, the two never crossed each other's path.
Maggi (Namrata Barua), Vikram's girlfriend, is looking out for a career in films for both of them. While shooting an advertising campaign with Uday Singh Vikram meets Radha and the damsel falls head over heals in love with the hunk. With dreams of winning him over Radha finds her mentor in Grandmother (Tanuja).
The old lady takes up the challenge of helping her granddaughter to hook the man of her dreams. She has cardinal rules of courtship and romance honed over generations which she passes on to her grand-daughter. Radha is ecstatic to see them working and finally succeeds in winning his affection too. But the moment she realises the deception involved in the rules, she opts out of the relationship leaving Vikram befuddled.
Set in the backdrop of glamour world, 'Rules - Pyaar Ka Superhit Formula' caters to the younger audience and exposes their romantic illusions. Milind, who managed a decent show in Mani Shankar's thriller '16 December', is keeping his fingers crossed for his maiden venture as a producer.
