Pratik Babbar who will be seen in Kiran Rao's Dhobi Ghat got an earful from Aamir Khan as the newbie made him wait endlessly on the sets. What's more is that the actor remained untraceable. With the entire unit making frantic calls to the actor, Aamir Khan was seen fuming and giving angry instructions to the crew.

A source says, "Frantic efforts to trace Pratik were made, but to no avail. Officials from Aamir Khan Productions made repeated calls to Pratik's mobile, but nobody could trace him that day."

However things went out of control when production unit learnt that Prateik had gone away to Goa. "It was very strange of Prateik to go to Goa. He is often spaced-out. They couldn`t shoot for the next two days because of Prateik`s absence. Aamir, of course, gave Prateik a piece of his mind when he returned.

He told Prateik, "Aise kaam nahin chalega. Please try and understand", adds the source.
