"There should be a censor board. But the censor's role should also be played by parents at home. Why shouldn't parents forego an 'A' certificate film once in a while when they are with their children?" Parekh, who is in Goa to attend the 40th edition of the International FIlm Festival of India (IFFI), told Saturday.
Earlier during a media interaction, Parekh, who has also produced a popular TV serial called "Kora Kagaz", said that she was not keen on doing television shows now because of a creativity drought in the industry.
"Today, there are so many daily serials, but creativity is less. I don't feel comfortable. Directors have no place today. They are given a script and they have to do an episode, " she said.
