According to buzz Jackie Shroff mentioned that he was disappointed when he didn't get to play a single scene with Amitabh Bacchan in Agni Varsha because despite being in the same film, Amitabh Bachchan has got only a couple of scenes.

Amitabh plays Lord of Rain - Indra. To appease the rain gods, Jackie Shroff who plays the head priest jumps into the fire offering himself in sacrifice. That's when Lord Indra appears and there is finally rain in the parched land. The entire shooting schedule took place in Hampi near Bangalore; however, Amitabh Bachchan couldn't make it to the shooting there much to Jackie´s disappointment. Hence, a six-day shoot was arranged in Mumbai to shoot his part in the film!
