Bollywood actor Salman Khan, along with the cast and crew of his forthcoming film 'Veer' attended its music launch
function here on Monday evening.
Directed by Anil Sharma, ''Veer'' is an epic film set in 1875, during the British rule in India. It is a love story
of a warrior belonging to the Pindari clan. Historically, the Pindaris were bands of Afghan horsemen who fought against the
British forces, and survived on plunder.
While interacting with media-persons, Sharma said that the music was the main USP of the film.
"I think one of the USP of the film, apart from the star Salman Khan, is the story and the dialogues written by the writers.
The major USP of the film is its music. All the hard work done to make this period film will definitely attract the viewers, " he
added.
The film stars Salman Khan, Mithun Chakraborty, Sohail Khan and Jackie Shroff.
Music directors Sajid-Wajid, who have soundtracks of films like ''Welcome'' and ''Partner'' to their credit, have composed the
music for ''Veer''.
The film is slated for release in 2010.
