Mithun Chakraborty and Bappi Lahiri are teaming up yet again, after delivering hit after hit in the 1980s. They will be appearing in the film, ‘Rocking Dard-E-Disco', together.

The film, which stars Nandini Jumani and Rituparna Sengupta, will have Bappi Lahiri playing the role of DK otherwise known as Disco King. Mithun will be playing himself and will be shown as a friend of Bappi Lahiri in the film. It is directed by Ashok Tyagi.

According to Bappi Lahiri, since he and Mithun have worked together on many hit songs, he wanted the actor to be a part of the project. So he called up Mithun and he agreed to do the film.

Meanwhile, Bappi Lahiri has composed the music for Mithun's son, Mimoh's film, ‘Spaghetti 24 X 7', which will have the father-son sharing screen space. He is also composing the music on a few more films of Mithun. But he is looking forward to working as an actor with Mithun the most.
