Romit Raj who was last seen hosting the show ‘Perfect Bride' on Star Plus is on cloud nine these days. Well the actor has a reason for this happiness. Romit recently bumped into his favourite star Aamir Khan at the airport and was totally floored by him.

"I met Aamir Khan at Kolkata airport when he was on a promotional tour for his upcoming film ‘3 Idiots'. I was amazed to see him because he is one star I admire the most, " says Romit excitingly.

Elaborating more about his chit-chat with the superstar, Romit tells us, "I just told him that he is like a Santa Claus as most of his movies release on 25 Dec and with the elders, kids too love to watch his films. He was so polite and I was more surprised when he complimented me on being the Aamir Khan of Indian television."

"This was one of the best experiences I could ever have. I am so happy to meet my fav star and have taken his compliments very gracefully. This can be termed as one of the most memorable moment of my life, " concludes the actor who was much flattered to meet his favourite sitara.

Romit in the meantime is basking in glory with the ‘Aamir Khan of Indian Television' compliment!
