Sendhil Ramamurthy, who is known for his role in the TV series Heroes, has been signed on by Ekta Kapoor to play the lead role in her next film, which will be directed by Krishna DK and Raj Nidimoru. The film will have three leads.

Ekta confirmed the news and added that while it was very difficult to get Sendhil to do the film and it took her about 6 months to get him but believes it was still worth the effort.

Tusshar Kapoor plays the other lead. They are yet to decide on another actor. This will be Sendhil's first time doing a commercial Bollywood film.

He will be coming to India in January when the film will start shooting. Ekta hasn't revealed much about the film except that it will have humor and will be kind of slice-of-life.
