The perfectionist Aamir Khan is quite thrilled with the success of his latest release 3 Idiots. Our reliable sources reveal that 3 Idiots has made Aamir empathetic towards people. However, Aamir gives credit to his mother for it and claims he was brought up with such values.

Says Aamir, "My mother has given me such values to empathize with people even when you are in your best times." He goes down the memory lane and gives an explanation citing an example.

He says, "I was a very good table tennis player and would usually win most of the times. I was very touched by my mother's gesture when despite feeling happy about my win she would empathize with the boy's mother whose son would loose the match."

Seems Aamir has become preachy in real life too as his reel-life character in 3 Idiots has left an indelible mark on the minds of many who give undue importance to the competitive world and fail to realize their actual skills and eventually dreams.
