Parul Chauhan of popular TV serial ‘Bidaai' had an infection with boils over her neck, for which she had to be operated upon.

The official website of Star Plus said, "She had developed some boils on her neck which was in a bad state as in the same area some insect had bitten her. For her it was very painful and so she went to a doctor who told her that the infection is spreading everywhere. To avoid the infection he operated and removed the boils."

"With this minor surgery, she has not let it affect shoot and has not taken rest and there is no bandage because she does not want them to be highlighted in the show, " the website read.

Parul aka Ragini, said: "I am shooting and not resting but now I cant talk much because I have come here for the check-up at the hospital but overall condition of mine is fine."
