Soon after agreeing to become Mrs. Thadani in real life, the Mast-Mast girl, Raveena Tandon has took a U-turn over her choice of roles.
"I feel sorry for these teenyboppers who want to use their raunchy image to get a firm foothold in Bollywood," says the actress who the National award for her performance in Kalpna Lajmi's Daman.
The winds of change are wafting in the Bollywood. The heroines once shy of taking their cloths off in front of camera now flaunt their well-chiseled bodies with aplomb. From Yana Gupta's item number to Mallika Sherawat's kissing capers, flesh is ruling the roost.
When asked if she feels threatened by these so-called 'teenyboppers' she says, "I don't feel any competition from the host of sexy beauties who have entered into the tinsel town recently."
Tandon reminisces about the days when giving a Bikini shot was too embarrassing for an actress. "It is sad that acting nowadays have become synonymous to skin show. I don't want to compete with these half-naked women," says exclaims.
