Yes... if the latest buzz is to be believed, John and Bipasha, once termed as the most happening couple in the industry, have split.

"The split was pretty much impending", claims a close friend who insists that John wanted to settle down while Bipasha was non-committal.

As a result, the handsome hunk can be seen with some small time model at the moment.

Bipasha is the reigning glam doll in the industry and the couple struck gold with a sleepy hit like 'Jism'.

While John had been more open in confessing his relationship with Bipasha, the pretty lass always shrugged off the rumours as Press's figment of imagination.

"He's my closest friend and we vibe together very well. It is therefore natural that I want him to be there in every film where I need to get up close and personal with the hero. As actors we understand and complement each other's strengths and weaknesses and working with John is always a pleasure", she says.

Commenting on her latest volte-face, Amit Saxena, who directed the couple in the Jism, says, "The chemistry shared by them on the sets made me feel that they were in a relationship. There was certainly more to them than just friendship!"
