When Bipasha Pasu, that's how Channel 4 of UK calls her, and her beau, John Abraham, were necking on the beach in 'Jism', they never knew they were creating history.

Their famous sex-romp, which created quite a furor in India, has found it's way in Channel 4's list of '100 Greatest Sexy Moments'.

To their amazement, the couple has upstaged Hugh Grant and Kristin Scott Thomas in Roman Polanski's voyeuristic thriller 'Bitter Moon' to capture the 92nd spot in the list.

Considering Bollywood's hesitation to show explicit sexual content in its films the channels says, "Still tame by Western standards, this remake of Double Indemnity, starring John Abraham and Bipasha 'Pasu', has turned the traditional portrayal of women in Bollywood movies on its head. Its heroine is strong, and open about her sexual desires. "

No prizes for guessing who is on cloud nine.

"It's a huge compliment. Like anyone else, I also love it when people appreciate my work. Hindi cinema always had a different set of values for its leading men and women. But that's begun to change. Jism' was a landmark in this regard." says Bipasha.

"Just the fact that a Bollywood film made it to the list is no mean achievement. Given the kind of cultural and social milieu in which we work, it would be a little unfair to expect 'Jism' to take on films from the West. But no matter how you look at it, it's undoubtedly a recognition for the Indian film industry and we should enjoy it", she further adds.
