'Chameli' may have sunk at the box-office but surely that doesn't hold true for Kareena Kapoor.
For Bebo, it's just one more flop, which has won her a huge fan following from Kamathipura and all the red light areas across the country.
"We bless Kareenaji for doing a film like 'Chameli'. She has done something, which most Bollywood heroines would think twice before doing. We are grateful to her for restoring a bit of our lost pride," says an ecstatic sex worker from Delhi.
Similar comments are being showered upon Bebo, leaving her no reason to be gloomy about the failure of the film.
"Going against my popular image was a hard decision. It was a realistic story and I tried to pick up every minutiae from the lives of sex-workers in Kamathipura and instill them in my character. I think my hard work has paid off," says thrilled Kareena.
That is not all, Bebo phenomenon has become rage in the dark alleys of every city. While some residents have her posters pinned to their walls others stand dressed up like her fishing for their customers.
Ask Kareena how did she manage to create such a storm and she just says, "Always remember, there is no substitute for hard work."
