"Don't pull the joke to the extent that it backfires on you."

That's the advice Kareena has been giving to all the scribes who have been working overtime to plant her alleged involvement stories with hottest kid on the block, Shahid Kapoor.

"There is no such affair. I am happy as I am," she lashes out.

At the moment, Kareena is working with Shahid in two films, 'Fidaa' and Satish Kaushik's 'Milenge Milenge'.

"But don't try to read too much into it. It's just a coincidence," she says.

"How can I be having a relationship with him when I barely know him? We've bumped into one another a couple of times at the nightclubs where he was with his friends and I was with mine. Can't two young single people have fun without the world jumping to conclusions?" she asks as the frustration continues to build on her face.

Quelling the spicy rumors she further says, "He's the youngest hero we have and he needs to be cast with someone his age. That's me. We have just started shooting together. So let's not jump the gun, please!"
