I have a good news for Cecil Anthony, Manisha's boyfriend.
You don't have to worry anymore about Manisha's allegedly tarnished image Cecil. Because after watching 'Tum', I came to this conclusion that not many of the sane minded people would like to repeat my mistake and hence damage would be minimal.
Now when you're happy and listening, please also tell Manisha that, no offence but, she isn't sexy anymore. Not even when she jumps into bed with Karan Nath.
And one more favour, please ask director Aruna Raje, if she was trying to depict a young man's obsession for an elder woman or it was a murder mystery altogether which I couldn't able to comprehend.
For those who're trying to know about Manisha's biggest blunder till date, picture this.
Kamini (Manisha Koirala) and Vinod (Rajat Kapoor) are stuck in an insipid relationship. They decide to venture out into Mauritius to pep some things. But as usual Vinod plays a spoilsport and fails to turn up.
Enter Jatin (Karan Nath), a young photographer, who smells the loneliness Kamini suffers and exploits it to the hilt. (You'll be hearing some loud jeers from the front benchers here.)
The film progresses but the story falters.
After sometime one starts wondering if our angry young man is actually obsessed or crazy. To further sully the skin fest, there is Netanya Singh, who plays Karan's girl friend, Isha, in the film. For the front benchers, it's as good as it gets.
Blink again and you'd realise that your 'Summer of 42' remake has turned into a murder mystery in the second half. If you're patient enough to sit through the end, you'll be pulling your hair to find out the mystery.
Music of the film just makes the whole experience more intolerable. A confused director, bad performances and ridiculous script sum up 'Tum- A Dangerous Obsession'.
Go and watch out Tum if you are looking for some tasteless bed sequences. Go and watch out Tum if you're insane!
