His first is an untitled venture which will star good friend Abhishek Bachchan in the lead– the film will be directed by Anurag Basu of 'Life in a Metro' fame. After his latest big-budget 'Kites', Anurag Basu is ready to take filmmaking on an even bigger scale with the support of producer Goldie Behl.
Abhishek's role in the film has been tailor-made for him and according to the grapevine it will be Basu's most ambitious project till date.
Goldie Behl is also set to direct another film titled 'Copycat', for which he is in talks with Prateik Babbar.
Goldie says, "There is something special about that boy, besides the fact that he looks so much like his mother. He suits the role perfectly".
Though there was much confusion regarding who will star in Goldie's film, it is now confirmed that Abhishek and Prateik have both been approached for different projects.
Clearing the air Goldie says, "Abhishek was my only choice for the film with Anurag Basu. And yes for my second venture 'Copycat', I'm in talks with Prateik. Both Abhishek and Prateik will star in different films."
