In a tête–à–tête with Ashita, adorably titled as the ‘spice of Bidaai' by the cast and crew of the show, she mentions enthusiastically, "I have a great zeal and passion for dancing but I have never been recognized as a dancer.
I have received popularity due to my acting. I want people to know that even I am eager to execute great moves on screen and stage. But, after all, it is a game of fate. Honestly speaking, I can't stop myself when music goes on.
But, after all, it is a game of fate. Lamentably, except ‘Zara Nachke Dikha', I have not received any opportunity to show off my dancing talent."
On being quizzed about the recent track of 'Natraj Mahotsav' in 'Bidaai', she elaborates, "I requested our EP to at least take me to the shoot of Natraj Mahotsav so that I could shake a leg off-screen, if not on-screen (giggles). Sadly, nothing worked out."
Never one to give up on a dream, Ashita is keeping her fingers crossed for any such opportunity in the future. For now, she has just asked us to put in a good word with the producer, Rajan Shahi, for her and request him to let Malti Bhabhi have a jig on the show at least once.
