When asked about coincidence, Ratan Rajput has a very relevant example that can clearly explain what
coincidence actually means. In a direct conversation of TellyCafe.com with Ratan Rajput aka Laali of Zee TV's
'Agle Janam Mohe Bitiya Hi Kijo', she shared a secret, a fact that is extremely close to her on-screen
character.
Ratan utters animatedly, "The name Laali is not at all new to me, as much before the serial 'Agle Janam Mohe
Bitiya Hi Kijo' went on air, I was nicknamed 'Laali' by my family!
It so happened that, when I was with my family and friends in Patna, all were aware that my favorite color is red
because I had loads of articles, clothes and accessories in the red color. Therefore, all my friends had labeled me
'Laali'. Of course, as is known, the Hindi word for 'red' is 'laal'.
"Thus, for a long time, I was called Laali over there in Patna. After settling in Mumbai and managing to get the role
of Laali, not much changed. Even our director and the rest of the crew began to call me Laali after 2 days of
shooting. I used to respond to them as if this name was ultra familiar to me, " adds Laali.
Yes, Laali! This example perfectly epitomizes coincidence, what say?
