And this year's award for the best action hero goes to..... Amar Singh!!!
With this portly figured politician being around most of the time, we don't think Bachchans need the security cover anymore. When it comes to Big B's honour, he can take on anyone, from the reigning stars to the biggest business tycoons in the country.
Ask Shah Rukh, how touchy is Singh about Amitabh and he'll give you the full details of this Samajwadi Party leader's temper.
After getting into a scuffle over the seating arrangement at the Zee Cine Awards, the two have decided to burry the hatchet.
"I don't let grievances grow in my heart. Shah Rukh called me in Mumbai to say he was only joking when he accused me of bullying. He is King Khan. We've to take what he says on its face value," says Singh.
The things spiraled out of control when Amitabh and Singh were meted out very ham-handed treatment by the organisers at the award ceremony. Singh blew his top and decided to leave with Bachchan. When Zee's top man, Subhash Chandra rushed forward to stop them, Singh gave him a mouthful.
Shah Rukh also approached Singh with an apology from the organisers but he refused to accept it.
"Had Bachchan been there alone, he'd have suffered the humiliation in silence. That's the kind of person he is. It was fortunate that I was around. I reacted the way I should have. But now the matter is closed. I told Khan it didn't matter even if he was serious. Because, it is a matter of pride to me if I am called a goonda (bully) for protecting my elder brother's honour," he says.
Amar Singh isn't the only one who reacted so strongly to the Big B's night from the hell. Sahara Chairman Subrata Roy has also pitched in with his share of punishment for the organisers.
On Tuesday, he announced that Sahara would no longer do any business with the Moranis, who were their event organisers for several Bollywood related events in the past.
We must say Mr. Bachchan, you really got some ardent fans.
