We came to hear that a close friend of Tusshar's invited him for the event and he readily agreed to be part of it.
An onlooker reveals "Tusshar was overwhelmed listening to various survival stories of the patients. Though he was just the chief guest he even went on to give them an impromptu performance and even pulled some of them up to dance with him. It was really touching."
The star who is known for his down to earth nature, also participated in lighting candles and around 100 candles were lit to spread the message of hope that cancer patients can survive.
Says the humble Tusshar, "I went there as a chief guest since a friend of mine invited me, and I came out feeling much more positive and hopeful after witnessing the spirit of these survivors"
Post his experience there at Mahavir Hospital Tusshar Kapoor has also expressed a desire to participate in the Cancer Survival March that the hospital plans to organize next year.
