Director Vikram Bhatt's upcoming movie Shaapit will be making his trilogy to horror movies after Raaz and 1920. The movie incorporates Theban, or the Witches' Alphabet which is used in witchcraft to hide magical writing from prying eyes. It serves to disguise the meaning of a text and to give it a mystical quality.

Vikram Bhatt has extensively researched Theban before using it in the movie. The Director shares, "Theban is universally known.

People who practice witchcraft use it. In my film, Rahul Dev uses this language. I was reading a Colin Wilson novel when I learnt about it and then researched it extensively. I surfed the net and discovered many of its interesting aspects."

The movie will mark the debut of Aditya Narayan and Shweta Agarwal and is slated to release on 19th March, 10.
