Don't get fooled by this promotional still. Here is a lesbian couple, which may set screen on fire with their gay vibes but when it comes to real life, they just can't stand each other.
Those who were present at the photo shoot of Karan Razdan's 'Girlfriend' won't disagree with us.
For a provocative movie like 'Girlfriend', a little physicality was expected but all hell broke lose when the two got into a catfight where fisticuffs were exchanged, hair were pulled and a lot of abuses were thrown around.
Did anyone shout REASON?
Actually, Isha didn't like the way her onscreen gay partner, Amrita, was hogging all the shuttercliks at the photo session. So she went up to the photographer and offered to outstrip her love interest.
Amrita overheard and what followed was a sheer delight to the onlookers. The two (wo)manhandled each other. If Isha wrestled Amrita to the ground, Arora junior paid back in the same coin and slapped Koppikar.
It was only after director's intervention, the brawl came to an end.
While playing down the whole episode Isha insists, "Sometimes it happens that you get involved in heated arguments over various things. It was a minor scuffle and was nothing more than that. We hurt each other physically."
Revealing her side of story Amrita maintains, "I had no problems even when Isha was trying her best to imitate everything I did. But I certainly flew into a rage when she started to taunt me saying she is more beautiful. I retaliated and paid her back in the same coin. I told her straightaway that no matter how hard she tried, she could never be as glamorous as I am."
Now that wasn't, for sure, director Karan Razdan meant when he told the sultry sirens to get physical.
