You name any man in the Bollywood and she can take him down to his knees in a split second on screen. But what about the real life? Dogged by the rumours of a failed marriage, do Mallika a.k.a Reena Lamba has someone special in her life?
"Oh, it's such a sad story," she exclaims and says, "I am like a nun. The only man in my life is my younger brother Vikram. I work and I go back home, with no one to sleep with."
But don't fall for the sob story of Bollywood's newest temptress as yet because her predicament is not out of choice. It's sheer circumstantial that Sherawat hasn't found her prince charming yet.
"I'm looking for someone really gutsy. Someone with more balls than I have. Come on, where are all the ballsy men," she asks.
Described by Bhatt as a "Desi Tadka", Mallika, doesn't have a very blissful family life. Though she has found some support in her mother and brother her father still disapprove her steamy act.
But she is proud of every bit of work she has done in the tinseltown.
"It's not easy to get entry into the industry. Bollywood has its own aristocracy, the star sons and daughters. One thing I have learnt is it's not God, but men who run this place. All that you hear about women's emancipation is totally untrue. You know, it's surprising how all these girls from small towns want to emulate me. I have become a symbol of small town aspiration in Bollywood," gushes Mallika.
