The 'Kiss Miss' has finally savoured her sweet revenge and even gloated when immy a.k.a. Emraan Hashmi went up to his uncle Mahesh sobbing how Mallika stole the entire show in his own production 'Murder'.
The story for Ashmit Patel, who played her hapless husband isn't any different. It's a well known fact that two couldn't see each other eye to eye especially, after Ashmit decided to play a prank on Sherawat.
"I don't know if she's got any accolades for the film, but the sheer fact that she was plastered all over the Television channels, was a very smart move to get the audiences in the theatres. The movie was the effort of team work and cannot rest on only one person's shoulder to walk away with all the steam," he says.
On the other hand, Emraan is far less diplomatic in his views about Mallika.
He accuses Sherawat of hogging all the limelight and says, "All this while I had been ignoring her quotes but this was uncalled for as the film was a team effort and not her mere presence. From now on, I would make sure that she does not figure in any of the projects associated with me."
He seems to have taken the first step in that direction by asking good friend Mohit Suri not to cast her in his next film, which was earlier agreed upon by the trio. The disaster for Mallika doesn't stop here.
The tiff with immy has cost her just one more film and this time it's his uncle Mahesh himself who've said sayonara to the Jat beauty.
"It is true that we are not working with Mallika any more. She's a lovely girl and I will always be very fond of her but when it comes to choosing between family and an outsider there is no choice. Emraan is my flesh and blood. I have shielded her till now but not any longer," explains the veteran director.
Now that's what we call a gruesome 'Murder' of an eternal ‘Khwahish'. But don't worry and stay glued to this space because Mallika isn't one of them, who takes anything lying down.
