Diana Hayden is not someone who'd jump into the acting fray just because she had won the Miss World tiara. She went on with her charity work, where her heart is. And when showbiz finally came calling, she chose to equip herself from the best in business, Royal Academy of Dramatics Arts in London.
Though her heart still beats for her charities, the pretty lady has decided to try her hands in the business and make it a bit tougher for her fellow beauty queens.
We saw a bit of her oomph in 'Tehzeeb' but then it was just a glimpse of her potential. Wait for some time and you'll see her in full splendour in Ritesh Sinha's 'All Alone', where she plays an ultimate temptress, Rani.
Her first victim on screen... Manoj Bajpai. A desi tadka in English pudding, isn't it? Ritesh isn't the only one who has decided to tap her raw talent.
Rajesh Singh and Raju Mavani has roped Diana in for their upcoming movie ‘Ab Bas!' where Shahwar Ali, who bore the brunt of music-video model Meghna Naidu in Hawas, plays the male lead.
"It will be a very glamorous, but author-backed role for Diana, while Shahwar's character has grey shades in this song-less but hard-hitting social thriller," informs Mavani.
As for Diana, she is ecstatic and glowing for bagging a dream role.
"The lead character is a model going through a spectrum of adverse situations and circumstances in her married life. Besides the undercurrent of glamour, there is terrific scope for me to display my histrionics during the emotional and dramatic scenes. ‘Ab Bas!' implies that I have had enough of what is being meted out to me," she gushes.
