Singer-turned-actor Sukhwinder Singh is on Cloud Nine after receiving praise for his debut film "Kuchh Kariye" from veteran actor Naseeruddin Shah. Shah was so impressed with his acting that he even gifted him Prada sunglasses.

"Naseer kept praising Sukhwinder's acting and said that it did not look that this was his first film venture, " said a friend.

"To further encourage Sukhwinder's talent, Naseer gifted him something too. Naseer gifted Sukhi a pair of Prada sunglasses. Coming from a talented actor like Naseeruddin Shah, Sukhwinder was left speechless. He plans to keep the sunglasses as a souvenir, " the friend added.

The film, directed by Jagbir Dahiya, deals with the current

socio-political scenario. It is releasing April 23.
