The recent rumors of her shifting base to London has already given a lot of sleepless nights to Vivek Oberoi. The poor guy's heart skips a beat every time she packs her bag and leave India.
To put his sufferings finally to an end, when a scribe finally confronted Ash with the question, he got a reply Vivek was dying to hear.
"Not at all, that will never happen because I absolutely and thoroughly love working here and Bollywood will always be a priority. I have no intention of running away to Hollywood because it has opened its doors to me," declared Ash.
"I can't see myself not working here. In fact I have been telling my well-wishers, fans and the media that the only reason I'm taking up international projects is because I'm thankful to God for the opportunity I've got so far. I treat foreign films just like my other assignments in Tamil or Bengali cinema. My reasons haven't changed," she added.
Then what about the rumors of settling in London? Are they true?
"Not true at all," she says.
"It was a clear case of miscommunication and some misunderstanding. I love it here in Mumbai and can't imagine staying anywhere else in the world. There's absolutely no question of settling down anywhere except India," she insists.
The prettiest lady of the Bollywood is currently working opposite Meryl Streep in 'Chaos' apart from Roland Joffe's 'Singularity', Barton Randall's 'I Know a Place' and Gurinder Chadha's 'Mistress of Spices'.
Hey Vivek, now when we've got your smile back on your face, is it too much to expect a THANKS from you?
