Shilpa Shetty is not happy these days. The age is trickling for her and so are the good assignments. The roles that are being offered to her don't excite her any more. Take her latest movie 'Garv' for an instance.
In spite of rubbing shoulders with Salman Khan, Shilpa is hardly upbeat about the film.
"It was great working for the film and I really hope the film does well but there was nothing great from my end for this film. I think my character has the same shades that you have seen in many of my films," she says.
She wants something different and doesn't hesitate to say it.
"I don't mind the dancing as you know that is my specialty. But characters that don't hold any appeal do worry me and that's why I have reduced my assignments to just two films per year," gushes the leggy lass, who has decided to give glamour a break for a while.
No wonder you'll be seeing her sans regular jhatka matkas in her next release 'Phir Milenge'.
Revathy, who is directing Shilpa in the film took it as a challenge to cast the best item girl into a plain Jane's mould, hence we can see Shetty playing the pivotal role amongst the stalwarts like Salman Khan and Abhishek Bachchan, sporting almost no make up.
But time is running out too fast on Shilpa to prove herself in the industry once again. You better deliver soon Ms Shetty before people tell you, 'Phir Milenge'.
