Life doesn't present many opportunities but when it does you ought to be grabbing it with both hands. That's precisely what Prachi Shah has done after bagging her maiden flick. Shah though has quit Colors show Yeh pyaar na hota kam for the film.

Confirming the news, Shah says, "I'd intimated the producer well in advance about my other commitment. I'm currently out of town shooting for a Rajshri production film. They (producer) needed to shoot some urgent scenes of Mridula, but I couldn't take it up and so we parted ways amicably."

While Shah may have bagged a film, it's buzzed that the actress wasn't happy with the hectic schedule as she wasn't getting much time to look after her baby.

A little birdie informs, "From what I know, Prachi wasn't happy with the excessive working hours. Right from the beginning, she had made it clear that she won't be shooting post 6.00 pm as she had to go back to attend her little child.

In fact, the production house had even offered to have a separate room for her child. Early on, things went as per schedule but later on things got hectic thereby causing her much stress."

Prachi though denies that she ever had problem with the work schedule.

"I've never had any issues with the production with regards to working hours. As I said before, I had a prior commitment and that's the only reason why I opted out of the show, " chided Shah.

Prachi is replaced by Shweta Gautam. Interestingly, Gautam, who is said to be in her late 20s is playing mother to Yami Gautam (25) and Parul Gulati (17).

Note: We've mentioned approximate ages of Yami and Parul.
