Girlfriend may have been fetching tepid reviews from the critics but one thing's for sure, Amrita Arora is scorching hot! Those who are skeptical, feel free to contact Isha Koppikar for the further clarifications.
Amrita, who plays the bone of contention in this unusual love triangle film is absolutely straight in real life and a mere thought of reel-life turning into real life is enough to give her goose bumps. When a scribed confronted her with this hypothetical question, Arora completely freaked out and shouted, "No way!"
"I like being in love with the opposite sex. God has created the man-woman relationship, which is most beautiful thing in the world. If I woke up one morning to find that my sexual preference has changed, first I will scream in despair and then do everything in my power to change myself," she added hastily.
The pretty girl maintains that she took up this challenging role because it really excited her. But she doesn't hesitate to accept either that there were various moments in the film when she found it very uncomfortable to have sexual undertones towards a female.
Citing one such incidence she says, "There's one scene in the film that will surely grab everyone's attention. It's a scene where my character is totally straight and Isha Koppikar's character has sexual undertones. This particular scene establishes why she does what she does, and the story takes a twist."
Thanks to her character itself, Amrita has developed an insightful look into the Homosexuality.
According to her: "You are not born with homosexuality, it's circumstantial. Studies have often revealed that a sexual preference can develop because of many reasons – like a terrible childhood experience, sexual exploitation, peer pressure and many more such experiences."
Hmm.... Quite a learned fella? Who won't fall for her?
"Actually someone did," she gushes.
"I met a girl who made a pass at me when I was in New York. We started making some conversation; it didn't even vaguely cross my mind that she could be a lesbian. But when she asked me for my phone numbers and wanted to come over to my place - that's when I thought something was unnatural about this."
Hey Isha are you listening? You've got competition!!!
