Adulterous wives, Lesbian friends and now high society call girls!
While the moral brigade is having a field day, the rest of the male audience is wagging their tongues in anticipation for more. The summer has never been better for them.
As if Mallika Sherawat, Meghna Naidu and Isha Koppikar weren't enough to scorch them, Neha Dhupia, who plays college student turned prostitute in 'Julie', has also jumped in to the fray with a statement, "I'm not too keen on playing a simpering virgin. I want to experiment and see how far I can challenge myself."
The Bikini days are bygones and feeling the heat a la Mallika Sherawat, Neha has decided to shed her last piece of clothing too. As a result you see her bare back in full glory and tattooed ‘I love you' all over it.
"That's something the role demanded but I've not done anything that will make my mother cringe," she insists.
Just like Mallika Sherawat, Dhupia has also grown the fascinating insights into human relationships. From women emancipation to the feminine sexuality, she can teach a thing or two to you on everything.
According to her: "There's no harm in having sex before marriage, from both the ethical and social point of view. In fact physical intimacy is healthy after you come of age. If people do get a chance to have sex before they enter wedlock, what's wrong with it?"
Don't read too much into her sexually liberated views (wink...wink..) as they have nothing to do with her film, which deals with the same subject. They have been part of her belief system ever since she started to think for herself.
After listening to this Delhi girl all we can say is, Models may make lousy actors but they certainly don't make lousy performers. Moan in ecstasy or groan in agony but Bollywood is changing for sure. Take it or leave it!
