Indian celebrities will be making their presence felt in a big way at the forthcoming 63rd Cannes Film Festival. After Aishwarya Rai, Shekhar Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor, it's Mallika Sherawat who's headed for the prestigious event. The Bollywood siren will have not one but two of her films screened at Cannes.

Mallika has been making waves in Hollywood rather than back home. Her films Hiss, in which she plays a snake woman, will be unveiled at Cannes.

Hiss has been directed by Jennifer Lynch and co-produced by her brother Vikram Lamba. Her unique look has created a lot of buzz about the film.

A source told us that the film's actors, including Irrfan Khan and Divya Dutta, will attend a press conference and photo call at the Majestic Hotel.

The films team will also hold a cocktail party for international buyers and VIPs. Reportedly, live snakes will be used for the unveiling. Mallika had recently shot for a steamy photo shoot with a real snake. The stills would be revealed as a publicity tactic.

Her other film that has made it to Cannes is Love, Barack, directed by Doug McHenry. It has Ms. Sherawat opposite Avatar star Laz Alonso! It's a romantic comedy set during Barack Obama's campaign for the U.S. Presidency.

She plays the female lead and central character Aretha Gupta, a devoted, local Obama volunteer coordinator. The filming wrapped up last month in LA.

This is Mallika's second appearance at Cannes after her film The Myth with Jackie Chan was screened in 2004. The lady is sure going places!
