Shama Sikander, who gained recognition after her role as middle class Gujurati lass in 'Yeh Meri Life Hai', is surely a
brave girl. Recently during the shoot of Seven, Shama got a chance to showcase her action skills, when she was
required to lift a 90 Kg. rig for an important sequence.
"Boy, it was so heavy. We were shooting in Chandivali with no fans, no lights, and I had to carry this 90 Kg. rig. It was
definitely taxing but in the end I was able to pull it off. My team mates jokingly commented that I have managed to
create a world record with that act!" said Shama laughingly.
She added, "The shot shows my character entering the mind of another character and reading her thoughts. I was also
required to run with the rig with people falling over me. It was a tough shot but I'm proud that I was able to do it."
Shama plays the character of Shunya in the Yash Raj's 'Seven', which has a supernatural plot and is aired on Fridays
at 9 pm on Sony Entertainment Television.
