Tusshar Kapoor has bagged a film under the prestigious Rajshri banner. Directed by Manavsi Sharma, the film stars Amrita Rao as Tusshar's love interest.

Initially, there was buzz that Shahid might be offered the film since he was a part of Vivaah, which was a success. However, the creative heads decided Tusshar would suit the character better than Shahid.

A source from the project reveals, "It's a love story, but quite different from the ones Rajshri make. It's in an urban setting. Even though the backdrop is modern, the film will continue to reflect the banner's ideology. The film will be going on floors in coming months. "

A few weeks back, there was buzz that Shahid might be under consideration for another of the banner's films. However, with Tusshar being signed on, it looks like Shahid will have to wait.
