Ace filmmaker Prakash Jha recently clarified that Katrina Kaif's character in 'Rajneeti 'was not inspired by Congress supremo Sonia Gandhi but by characters in Hindu epic-Mahabharat.

Jha, however, said he would love to do a film on 'Soniaji' if she consents.

"Soniaji's life is inspiring ...I'd love to do a movie if she consents, " Jha said at ETC Bollywood Business.

The filmmaker further confessed that he was forced to move to mainstream commercial cinema due to market pressure.
