Gurinder Chadha, whose It's A Wonderful Afterlife releases next week, has already begun research on her next project, a love story set against the backdrop of the 1947 Partition.
On her recent trip to India to promote her upcoming film, the London based filmmaker undertook a short visit to the Wagah border.
She will soon catch up with her family, as her forefathers had served in the
British Army and based in Rawalpindi. She will also meet others who have connections with the Partition and is reading every book she can find on the subject.
