And the first film to be included will be 3 Idiots

Vidhu Vinod Chopra has started work on building a new film archive, which will contain material on most of the prominent films Bollywood has made. The material will be compiled into books and released.

The first film to be included is 3 Idiots. It will be followed by the Munnabhai series. Other films expected to be included are Mother India, Pyaasa and other classics as soon as Vidhu gets the requisite permissions.

A special team put together by Vidhu will work on collecting rare material on all the films, including the screenplay, deleted scenes, photographs taken on the sets and other rare pictures which the cast and crew have saved, and details on the casting process.

The books will also have character sketches and other details that went into making the film.
