It's been taxing times for Dia Mirza. From box office disasters to painful heartbreak, petite Dia has seen it all in the last year. But she hasn't lost hope yet. She gave movies a much needed break, did some serious rethinking voila... Mirza girl is back in style.
Mahesh Bhatt is the man who has beem fast enough to see the change in the former Miss Asia pacific and he that's why he cast her in his recent film 'Tumsa Nahin Dekha' opposite Emraan Hashmi.
Dia plays a stripper in this Bhatt film and we won't blame you if you expect a good deal for your money. Her lip lock with Emran has only raised the expectations. But don't expect another Mallika act because she is not the one.
"I do not strip," says Mirza. "I play a bar dancer with strong moral values. My character believes that dancing is like acting - in one the performance is staged and in the other you perform for a live audience."
As for Kissing, "It is Emraan, who is trying to steal it while I just resist," she says.
Her parting note, "I try and see everything in a positive light. Whether it is the demise of a dear one, or moments of deep anguish, I have come to understand that everything happens for the best. It may jolt me when it happens, but time has always proved that it was for my good. "
We must say, Dia, 'Tumsa Nahin Dekha'.
