We had earlier reported that a unit from Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah went to Canada to be a part of the Golden event, that is, the Gujarat festival and the team (Disha Wakani, Dilip Joshi, Dharmesh Mehta, Asit Modi) returned to India today at 2:00 am. After a mini vacation, they all are back to work.

We contacted Daya (Disha Wakani) and she shares a wonderful memory from the streets of Canada. "After the event was done, we got lots of appreciation from the public present there and apart from the Gujarati and Punjabi crowd, there were also a number of high officials from the Canadian Parliament and they appreciated us for the show as well. After the event, we had a great time sightseeing. We went to see the Niagara Falls and the CN Tower."

"One of the most memorable events from our trip was when we visited the CN Tower from where almost had a glimpse of the whole of Canada and a Canadian couple with them even recognized us as Daya and Jetha.

They also recognized the rest of the team with their character names. It was a wonderful experience to be recognized by our character names and it was indeed a treat for all of us to be there." Disha signed off.
