Sammir Dattani's horror flick 8 has been rechristened Mallika. This is after the unit faced several problems during the shoot.

Astrologers and numerologists led producer Pappee Santagani to believe his title was panvati. The film is directed by Wilson Louis (Ho Sakta Hai) and also stars newbie Sheena Nayyar with Shailendra Singh as co-producer.

So now the posters and the publicity designs will have to be redone with the new title. Such a waste of energy, time and money!
