Bhangra King Daler Mehendi and music composers Vishal Shekhar, Sajid Wajid were in town to select the best singing sensations for Zee TV's talent hunt show-'Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Singing Superstars'.

With overwhelming success of over 18 years under its belt, Sa Re Ga Ma Pa is back with a bang this year.

Called 'Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Singing Superstars', the spirit of the show is younger than ever before with young geniuses like Sajid- Wajid, Vishal-Shekhar and Daler Mehendi for judges, the show bears the promise of a fine blend of its own glorious heritage with the spunk and vibrancy of today's times.

The jury is extremely excited about being in Kokata. One of the jury members Daler Mehndi said, "I'm very glad to be part of the biggest singing show on television. I'm grateful to Zee TV for giving me this opportunity to mentor young budding singers."

"This is a great platform for those who are passionate about singing and are willing to make it big as a singing star. We are delighted and hugely honored to be part of such a prestigious show. This year we hope to see the show reach pinnacle of its popularity, " said musician duo Sajid – Wajid.

Known to have created history as one of the longest-running musical competitions on television, Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Singing Superstars, took off from Indore this year, followed by live auditions in Guwahati, Bangalore, Baroda and Bhubaneshwar.

After Kolkata, the team will audition in Mumbai, Jaipur, Jalandhar and Delhi.

An added uniqueness to the show will be participation from contestants in Dubai, New York, London, South Africa & four cities in Pakistan. Local judges of the contest will screen candidates on the basis of their knowledge of sur-tal- laiy, a great voice & a confident stage performance.
